There is an observation common among teachers that you can tell when a weather

change is coming based on the behavior of the students.  If that

is true, today (Wed. April 2) we are headed for a hurricane!  You will be able

to test this observation when you read this on Sunday because you

will know what happened on Thursday and Friday.

Actually, it is amazing what you can learn by just observing and by noting the fact

that some things seem to be linked.  For instance, I have noticed that people who are

generous always seem to have what they need and often are blessed well beyond their need.

I have noticed that those who expect trouble seem to always find it and those who

expect the best always seem to find that.  Finally, I have noticed that happiness

is a decision we make more than it is a reaction to the circumstance.

Just as you can test my theory on student behavior, test out my other

theories and see if they work.  Actually, even if they

don’t work, you’ll be better off, try it and see.
