It’s Wednesday about 3:30 PM as I am writing this With Love.  My day began with a
phone call at 5:45 AM, it was my Supt. calling to tell me that we could not have
school today due to high water and several closed roads.  This meant that I was to
call several people to begin a calling tree that would spread the word among our
faculty and staff.  Once that was over, I thought I would just have a lazy day and
stretched out on the couch to doze a little.  At about 8:00 AM I was hungry so I cooked
some breakfast and settled down to watch the History Channel (I’m a real party animal).
It was then that the phone rang telling me that the church basement was
flooded again, this time, the whole basement.  So, I spent the rest of the day at
the church dealing with insurance, moving items out of the
water and throwing away a lot of wet stuff.

A popular commercial says “Life comes at you fast” and it is right.  We can’t even plan a
day and be sure of it, how could we ever hope to live a life
without the guidance of an all-knowing God?
