And then all of the sudden it was winter! Those of us who live in the Ozarks know that the
old saying about the weather, “If you don’t like the weather in the
Ozarks, just wait a minute….”, Is fitting.
Actually, life can have sudden changes also. Changes in our health can come on so unexpectedly
and completely turn our world around. Or, changes in our financial situation can also place us
in a position in which we would have never guessed we would be. The list goes on and on of the
sudden changes that can come in life that can cause us to be in a difficult position very quickly
and what do we do? We find a way to get along usually with the help of our friends.
Coping with the changes of the weather can be difficult but we handle it. Coping with
the difficult changes of life, though more difficult can go much better when we have
already placed our lives in the hand of the Lord. Doing so is not a guarantee that no
difficulties will come but it does guarantee that the God of all
things is there to help us through it all.
