Hey, it is summer time and that brings on some good days and good things.  Time off
with the family, vacation trips, picnics, family reunions, outings and occasionally those lazy days
to stay home, just to name a few.  As a pastor, I realize that these days come and understand that they
are healthy and good for us to enjoy.  I also realize that missing church will happen due of
these things but there is a problem here that you might not have thought about.

The budget of the church is stretched about as much as it can be as we continue to
try to support some other ministries, as well as our own and keep up with those constant bills that
come in.  For instance, did you know that our building payment alone is about $1900?  Add to that
utilities, insurance, and basic upkeep and the $900 per month that is paid to your pastoral staff and
the need becomes evident.  So, as you take your Sundays to enjoy those things of summer,
please remember that the bills of the church do not change.
